  1. Oh wow, I remember when my kids were all young like that and how much of a struggle it was to not only get them all out the door but also keep them entertained long enough during a shopping trip so that I could get what I needed and get back home all in one piece. Creating games is a great way to keep them occupied. Healthy little snacks are another. Great job mom!

  2. Oh, the dreaded shopping! My lil guy no longer stays in the shopping cart or the stroller. He loves the freedom of running up and down the aisles and bringing me items we don't need, but he insists on them being put into the cart. So, now I bring two things with me: the little candy bars, individually wrapped and the IPad. We have a Defender case on ours to protect it from being thrown, dropped, or watered. I've been criticised for giving him the IPad and sitting him in the cart. The alernative is that wild toddler who is either screaming and crying in the shop, or the one who just knocked over the display of apples. I always said I would never be one of those Mom's that bribes her child in the store, but I never thought I would have a kid who was a little terror when we went out. The answer is expensive and impractical but for me, worth every penny.
